Our story

Built out of
frustration.

India buys intimate products at scale and pretends it does not. The result is a market full of unmarked plastic, no material disclosure, and delivery experiences designed to embarrass you. We built the opposite of that.

Three rules, no exceptions

Freaky started with a simple observation: in most of the world, intimate wellness is a normal retail category with normal standards. In India it is a grey shelf on a marketplace, sold by anonymous sellers who will not tell you what the product is made of. That is not a taste problem. It is a safety problem.

So we wrote three rules and built the company backwards from them.

1. Body-safe or it does not get listed

Every device in our range is platinum-cure or medical-grade silicone, or body-safe ABS. Non-porous, phthalate-free, latex-free. We do not sell jelly, we do not sell unmarked PVC, and we do not list anything a supplier cannot document. Formulas are pH-balanced, glycerine-free and dermatologically tested.

2. The parcel gives away nothing

The single biggest reason people do not buy in this category in India is the delivery. Every order ships in an unbranded brown carton with a neutral sender name and no description of the contents anywhere on the label. Card and UPI statements show a neutral billing descriptor. Confirmation emails use a subject line that says nothing.

3. The product page tells the truth

Material. Decibel rating. Runtime in minutes. IP water-resistance rating. Warranty length. Published on every listing, in numbers, not adjectives. If we do not know a figure, we do not invent one.

Who this is for

Everyone over eighteen. Single, partnered, married, curious, experienced, or buying a first gift and quietly terrified. We do not write copy that giggles, and we do not write copy that leers. The tone here is the tone of a good pharmacy: calm, specific, and completely unembarrassed.

What we do with your data

Nothing. We do not sell, rent or share customer lists. We run no third-party retargeting pixels on product pages, which means you will not be followed around the internet by an advertisement for something you looked at once. Order history is deletable on request. This costs us money in advertising efficiency and we consider that a fair trade.

Awaaz — the part that is not about us

Period poverty and intimate health illiteracy are the same problem wearing two hats: nobody will discuss it, so nobody fixes it. For every order placed on this store, we fund a month of sanitary products for one woman through partner NGOs, and we publish the running total. It is a small thing done consistently rather than a large thing done once.

If you want the practical side of what we know, it is all free in the Journal — no email gate, no upsell.
